What you will do

  • Design and build scalable, high-performance AdsWizz data systems and microservices.
  • Develop low-latency APIs and access layers for audience targeting and analytics.
  • Lead architecture reviews and technical planning aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and cloud infrastructure teams for deployments and incident management.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical interviews to maintain engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Location: Hybrid role based in Bucharest, Romania
  • English: Proficient (B2) required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years backend engineering experience; 3+ years in senior/principal roles.
  • 6+ years Java programming experience and 4+ years microservices development on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Expertise in building low-latency RESTful microservices, distributed systems, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Nice to have

  • Experience with security standards like OAuth2.
  • Hands-on with Amazon Cloud Services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants and data analytics tools.
