TL;DR

Location: Hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week at a hirify.global office or client site in one of the many listed US cities.

Salary: $119,600–$179,400 per year (for San Francisco, CA and San Jose, CA offices)

What you will do

  • Provide strategic oversight and lead governance for hardware and software asset management practices.
  • Define and manage processes across the entire asset lifecycle, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage software demand pipeline, request intake, fulfillment, and SaaS license management.
  • Ensure application portfolios align with firm capabilities, maintaining documentation and stewarding applications.
  • Evaluate application investments, identify redundancies, and support contract renewals.
  • Lead application rationalization initiatives and align with enterprise architecture.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–7 years in IT asset management, IT portfolio management, IT demand and lifecycle management; prior leadership experience preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of IT operating models, ITAM principles, and lifecycle planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and planning capabilities.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across business and technical teams.
