Location: Mountain View, United States, onsite with expectation to work from office at least four days a week if living within 50 miles

Salary: $220,800–$331,200 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area range)

What you will do

• Develop and tune scalable pretraining software for Nvidia GB200 and AMD MIxxx GPU architectures.
• Benchmark GPU clusters and gather data to inform compute roadmap.
• Contribute to AI model development powering innovative products.
• Design and build complex distributed systems with high attention to detail.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, design-driven product development environment.
• Overcome roadblocks to deliver work quickly and iteratively to users.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Mountain View, United States with onsite work expectation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years engineering experience or equivalent.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with distributed systems and large-scale system design.
• Ability to debug complex, cross-system issues with high attention to detail.
• Preferred: background in machine learning, generative AI, or mathematics.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher with additional years of experience.
• Experience leading technical projects and supporting architectural decisions.
• Experience with generative AI and distributed computing.
