What you will do

• Maintain and improve Redpanda-based event streaming infrastructure
• Develop replacement authentication and authorization services
• Create event-driven solutions to replace batch processing
• Take ownership of tasks and propose innovative solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable systems
• Collaborate with other teams to improve system interactions

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in strongly-typed languages with 1+ year in Go
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm chart development
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Startup experience and ability to handle technical debt
• Ability to take tasks from start to finish including deployment and monitoring
• 3+ years working on systems at scale

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kafka and Redpanda
• Understanding of JWT, OpenID Connect, SAML, and authentication systems
• Experience with IaC tools like Argo CD, Terraform, and GCP
• Familiarity with Grafana observability stack and PromQL
• Experience with FlatBuffers, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, and RESTful APIs
