Senior Process Improvement Analyst

TL;DR

Senior Process Improvement Analyst (Business Analytics): Evaluate and improve business processes and systems for a Department of Defense client with an accent on business process modeling notation, interface design, and data storage. Focus on detailed requirements analysis, developing innovative solutions, and supporting federal IT budget processes.

Location: 5 day a week onsite work at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA, USA

What you will do

• Evaluate business processes and systems for the Department of Defense client.
• Anticipate functional requirements and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement solutions to enhance business processes and systems.
• Perform detailed requirements analysis and gather critical information from stakeholder meetings.
• Produce comprehensive reports documenting analysis results.
• Develop process maps, data dictionaries, and data models for system modifications.
• Identify and monitor solutions for business software system issues and changes.
• Provide expertise on the Federal IT Budget process and data requirements.

Requirements

• Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week at the Pentagon.
• Master's degree with 15+ years or Bachelor's degree with 17+ years of related experience in business analysis or process improvement.
• Experience with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and adapting it to DoD environment.
• Experience in interface design, data storage, and performing requirements analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and experience gathering and documenting stakeholder information.
• Experience identifying and implementing effective solutions for business software systems and monitoring changes.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARIS.
• Experience with DoD Business Capability Acquisition Cycle.
• Experience with U.S. government financial data IT systems.
