TL;DR

Technical Account Manager: Driving customer success by providing advanced technical and strategic guidance to ensure customers maximize the value of Pendo’s platform with an accent on connecting high-level business goals to sophisticated solutions. Focus on enhancing ROI, advocating for customer needs, and influencing product direction.

Location: Preference for Raleigh, NC or New York City office. Occasional travel to visit customers on-site.

Salary: $98,500–$123,000

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of Enterprise US-based customers.
  • Offer advanced technical and strategic consultation on Pendo products.
  • Establish strong, influential relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer ROI through tailored solutions.
  • Serve as an internal advocate for customer needs, influencing product direction.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership within the TAM team.

Requirements

  • 2.5 years of experience in technical account management or similar, preferably in a SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development, API integrations, CSS, or HTML.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • Proven ability to project manage and strategize complex customer relationships and demonstrate technical guidance.

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of SDKs, mobile frameworks, and mobile architecture.
  • Functional knowledge of Digital Adoption software and in-app guidance.
  • Technical writing experience.
  • Knowledge of software product trends, Product Ops, and PLG.
