Senior Backend Engineer (Python, Go)

TL;DR

Senior Backend Engineer (B2C Services): Building and operating efficient, high cohesion, low coupling services with security and privacy by design with an accent on modernizing the platform to a distributed, service-oriented architecture. Location: Hybrid mode, requiring 3 days/week at the office in Paris, France (Monday is mandatory).

• Develop and operate efficient, high-cohesion, low-coupling B2C services.
• Integrate security and privacy by design into all service implementations.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Backend Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Celery, Golang, and understanding of Django (legacy).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and BigQuery.
• Familiarity with GCP, Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, Datadog, ArgoCD, CircleCI, and Github.
• Strong understanding of distributed and service-oriented architecture.
• Work format: Hybrid, requiring 3 days/week at the office in Paris (Monday mandatory).
• English: C1+ equivalent (fluent).
