Tech Lead Data & Analytics (Snowflake, dbt, Tableau)

Location: Issy-les-Moulineaux, France; hybrid work with remote work available several days per week from France.

What you will do

• Co-lead a Feature Team with a Product Owner to deliver analytics and AI data products.
• Manage and coach internal and external Data Engineers.
• Define technical and data-modeling choices with other Data Leads, including Snowflake architecture, patterns, dependencies, and quality.
• Integrate data sources through the in-house DataHub solution and industrialize data products.
• Implement development and DevOps best practices.
• Optimize product performance and operating costs through FinOps.

Requirements

• Engineering-school graduate or holder of a specialized master’s degree.
• At least five years of significant experience in data and previous managerial experience.
• Experience managing and developing a technical team, supervising service providers, and providing technical leadership to a Data Engineering community.
• Expertise in Snowflake or another modern data platform such as BigQuery.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Agile and DevOps experience, including Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and CI/CD.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake features, knowledge of dbt, experience with data science and analytics/AI data products, and experience with data-modeling techniques.
• Proactive and independent problem-solving, analytical and synthesis skills, leadership, team motivation, dynamism, rigor, and a service-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English is required as the working language.

• Tableau or other analytics tools.
• FinOps culture and e-commerce skills, including SEO/SEA.
