TL;DR

Experienced Backend Engineer (Backend): Building and operating efficient, loosely coupled backend services with an accent on security, privacy-by-design, and service-oriented architecture. Location: Hybrid in Paris office with 3 days onsite (Monday mandatory)

What you will do

  • Build and operate backend services with high cohesion and low coupling in a distributed architecture.
  • Work in an agile "build it and run it" environment owning product lifecycle from development to support.
  • Collaborate closely with squad members and staff engineers to align technical direction.
  • Produce clean, consistent, and well-organized code supporting security and privacy by design.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within backend and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Location: Hybrid work in Paris office, 3 days per week onsite, Monday mandatory
  • English: Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing
  • Experience with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Celery, Golang, and backend technologies.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and cloud infrastructure (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an international, agile team environment.
