Associate Quality Assurance Engineer

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Define and implement test strategies, suites, and automation tools to improve testing scope and efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts promoting reusability and maintainability.
• Assist in triage, diagnosis, and resolution of platform issues and support manual testing during automation transition.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers and product teams to understand complex platform ecosystems.
• Contribute to end-to-end user acceptance testing and uphold quality standards and coding best practices.
• Work with onshore and offshore teams to meet objectives and deadlines.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid from Edgewood, NY; Denver, CO; or Newark, NJ.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years experience as software developer, QA engineer, or SDET with hands-on Java, C#, Selenium/Serenity.
• Experience designing and running automated and manual test cases, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication skills, and passion for improving product quality.
• Ability to work in agile teams and support automation transformation initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with UFT, API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, SoapUI), GIT, Python, HTML, SQL.
• Knowledge of security testing requirements and BDD/TDD methodologies.
