What you will do
- Lead a globally distributed team of managers and engineers to develop and scale hirify.global’s foundational service components.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and leadership to align on strategic outcomes and solve critical problems.
- Promote best engineering standards, secure and resilient system design, and quality code delivery.
- Ensure iterative feature shipping balancing speed and future velocity.
- Unblock teams through real-time and asynchronous communication to drive clarity and prioritization.
- Hire and develop talent fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the United States or able to work remotely within the US
- 11+ years of software engineering experience with production coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
- 5+ years of people management experience and strategy development.
- Experience with distributed systems performance, autoscaling, load balancing, and traffic shaping preferred.
- Proven ability to build and scale engineering organizations in high-growth or ambiguous environments.
- Strong collaboration skills across product, design, and engineering teams.
