What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers fostering a high-performance culture.
• Direct technical design, development, deployment, and operations of AI-driven healthcare software integrated into dental workflows.
• Guide architectural decisions, code reviews, and promote best software engineering practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and clinical experts to align engineering output with customer needs.
• Ensure software scalability, reliability, and performance for a growing user base.
• Implement continuous improvement processes to increase team productivity and software quality.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Boston, United States
• 5+ years software engineering experience with 2+ years in leadership or management
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with distributed SaaS systems using Javascript, Python, Java, C#, or C++.
• Familiarity with NodeJS, REST APIs, SQL, MongoDB, Docker, AWS, and Linux.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering processes, CI/CD, test automation, and reliability management.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
