What you will do
- Lead a team of Developer Advocates, guiding their work priorities and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Contribute to defining team OKRs and strategy, driving their execution.
- Ensure your team consistently ships high-quality output and remove roadblocks.
- Contribute high-quality technical content (e.g., videos, talks) to support the team.
- Work across various internal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to support Advocacy initiatives.
Requirements
- You are a former software developer, SRE, or other technical practitioner with strong technical judgment.
- You have 2-5 years experience managing a small team, coaching performance and guiding careers.
- You are an experienced and respected developer advocate, skilled at reaching software developers across multiple channels.
- You are comfortable with at least 2 programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js, bash).
- You are familiar with modern infrastructure such as IaaS cloud services and containers.
