Location: Hybrid. Base salary range for this position is based at our San Francisco headquarters; however, candidates may also work from Chicago, New York City, or Seattle.
Salary: $170,000–$190,000 USD

What you will do
- Define and execute enterprise automation and AI strategy, balancing hands-on technical contributions with leadership of cross-functional initiatives.
- Own architecture and technical oversight for resilient, observable automation frameworks and AI-enabled workflows.
- Lead enterprise integrations focusing on data quality, reusability, and automating business and analytics workflows.
- Operationalize AI use cases across applications, platforms, and AI tools.
- Establish governance and standards for design, testing, monitoring, and documentation; ensure adherence to security, data governance, and compliance practices.
- Engage and influence stakeholders and executives to shape priorities and drive adoption of AI-driven capabilities across functions.
- Hire, mentor, and retain top talent across automation engineering, analysis, and architecture.
Requirements
- 10+ years in automation, integration, or data engineering, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven expertise with Workato, Glean, Okta, and enterprise apps such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and BambooHR.
- Hands-on technical background in ETL/ELT, data modeling, SQL/T-SQL, and scripting/developing (e.g., Python, Ruby).
- Experience operationalizing automation workflows and AI agentic models for enterprise use cases.
- Demonstrated strengths in hiring, motivating, and retaining top technical talent.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive influence; ability to translate business needs into automation/AI strategies with measurable outcomes.
