What you will do

• Write and deploy quality code in a cloud-based microservice architecture.
• Understand the need for automation testing and write unit, integration, and post-deployment tests.
• Help design and implement proof of concept for new features.
• Communicate and collaborate openly and honestly with QA and Development teams.

Requirements

• This is a 4-6 month fixed term contract for an Intern position.
• Demonstrable understanding of scalability and availability in distributed systems.
• Knowledge with REST API back-end services.
• Experience with JavaScript and software engineering principles.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge with Amazon Web Services (Dynamo, S3, SQS, SNS, etc.).
• Experience with Java, Typescript, Git.
• Knowledge of Networking: TCP/IP, subnets, network ACLs, DNS, load balancing.
• Experience with digital channels, e.g., SMS, Facebook, Twitter, Line, WhatsApp etc.
