What you will do
- Own and define the long-term vision and strategy for several Tier 1 services at the core of the Optimization architecture.
- Foster a domain-wide culture of clarity and alignment, ensuring all stakeholders deeply understand the “why” behind your roadmap.
- Craft high-quality product specifications for complex, interconnected systems and guide cross-functional teams to pragmatic, scalable solutions.
- Use data as a strategic asset to influence KPI and target setting, and identify opportunities to embed ML/DS enhancements.
- Champion product delivery excellence, ensuring work is sliced effectively, dependencies are anticipated, and timelines are aligned.
- Act as a senior sparring partner to Engineering, translating concepts to business and helping shape system architecture decisions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management, with a strong focus on technical, infrastructure, or platform-level products.
- Proven track record of defining and delivering large-scale, high-load distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of backend architectures, service dependencies, and routing/optimization systems.
- Expert in using data, SQL, experimentation, and analytics to inform decisions and validate impact.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-team initiatives, negotiate trade-offs, and remove blockers.
- Strong communication skills, able to tailor complex concepts to diverse audiences and build trust.
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience working closely with Research / Data Science teams.
- Previous work in routing, logistics, or optimization-heavy problem spaces.
