• Manage and develop a distributed engineering team delivering reliable, high-quality software.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and career development sessions to support engineers' growth.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture based on trust and feedback.
• Partner with Product and Design to refine roadmaps and align technical priorities.
• Translate product goals into actionable engineering plans and iterative deliverables.
• Support hiring efforts and team capacity planning in collaboration with People Ops.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States or able to work US EST time zone.
• Strong software engineering background with senior-level experience in JavaScript and React.
• Proven leadership experience managing frontend or cross-functional teams.
• Ability to align engineering work with product strategy and business needs.
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams in a remote-first environment.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to manage multiple workstreams.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability products as a customer or vendor.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes monitoring or management.
• Experience managing multiple engineering teams responsible for distinct products.
