What you will do

• Architect and operate serverless services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
• Develop secure, versioned APIs with robust authentication and authorization controls.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Build automated CI pipelines with integrated testing and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform scalability, performance, and compliance.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience including production systems on AWS.
• Strong expertise with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK or CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in at least one modern language like Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Solid understanding of automated testing and system observability.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy sector communication protocols like OpenADR, IEEE 2030.5, or MQTT.
• Familiarity with Energy Management Systems (EMS) or DERMS platforms.
• Background in high-security, regulated industries or IoT environments.
