What you will do

• Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion within scope, time, and budget.
• Oversee day-to-day security operations and ensure ongoing effectiveness and business alignment.
• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity, IT, and business teams to integrate solutions.
• Manage relationships with security vendors and service providers.
• Identify, assess, and manage security risks in collaboration with Cyber GRC.
• Ensure security solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards like NIST, ISO, PCI/DSS, SOX, and GDPR.
• Oversee the response to security incidents and provide regular reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Must be currently based in the UK.
• Strong skills in managing complex security projects.
• Deep understanding of security operations and management of security solutions.
• Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and managing security risks.
• Expertise in security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and standards like NIST, ISO, PCI/DSS, SOX, Cyber Essentials, and GDPR.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security architecture.
