Salary: $238,520–$289,460 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop and own matchmaking services that select the best game server for millions of concurrent players.
• Work on data-driven experimentation projects to improve player experience.
• Collaborate with data teams to enhance matchmaking algorithm quality.
• Build scalable distributed systems supporting global data centers.
• Design and improve REST APIs and containerized microservices.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work with onsite presence in San Mateo, CA
• 4+ years of software engineering experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with NoSQL/NewSQL databases and scalable microservices.
• Knowledge of REST API design and containerized systems.
• Computer Science or related degree (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Strong software architecture and system design skills.
