Senior Node.js Developer

TL;DR

Senior Node.js Developer (Backend): Developing RESTful API backends from scratch with an accent on complex logic flow and API design. Focus on building scalable backend services, code review, and collaborating with international teams.

What you will do

• Work remotely or from the Fireart office
• Collaborate with international clients, mainly from the US and UK
• Create RESTful API backends using Node.js and Express
• Prepare Postman collections for automated API testing
• Perform code reviews for backend projects
• Develop application logic based on documentation and business requirements

Requirements

• English: Good spoken English required
• 5+ years commercial experience, including 2+ years with Node.js
• Expert knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience building RESTful APIs with Express
• Experience with MongoDB or DynamoDB
• Experience with Scrum/Agile SDLC and strong software design principles

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Firebase
• Knowledge of MQ technologies like RabbitMQ, Kafka
• Experience with multimedia communication protocols such as WebRTC
