What you will do

  • Develop frameworks and tools to promote ownership and accountability for infrastructure costs.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Engineering leadership to meet financial targets and support scalable growth.
  • Lead technical decisions, projects, and roadmaps for cloud cost management.
  • Drive business and engineering metrics promoting reliability, security, and productivity.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
  • Work cross-functionally with tech leads, program managers, and product managers on architecture and delivery.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Canada (remote within Canada)
  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing diverse engineering teams and large technical programs.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes, Redis, MySQL, Kafka, and AWS.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and mentorship skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
