What you will do
- Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions across multiple product verticals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Customer Success to translate business needs into impactful technical outcomes.
- Mentor and develop engineers, fostering growth through coaching, feedback, and career development support.
- Contribute hands-on to technical problem-solving and support team execution (around 20% of your time).
- Drive technical excellence by promoting best practices in software development, cloud infrastructure, and modern tooling.
- Champion agile workflows and team culture, ensuring alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement across engineering.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in software engineering, ideally across frontend and backend technologies (Svelte, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar).
- At least 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Team Lead, with a track record of mentoring and growing engineers.
- Proficiency with their tech stack: Svelte, Tailwind, NestJS, TypeScript, AWS, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, cloud-based systems (experience with AWS is a plus).
- A hands-on mindset and readiness to contribute to the codebase when needed (about 20% of your time).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
