What you will do

• Oversee and evolve the technical architecture for claims automation and related domains.
• Ensure architectural alignment with product and business goals.
• Build scalable automation using software engineering, low-code, and AI approaches.
• Empower and nurture a core team of 5 and collaborate across business domains.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and a mindset of ownership and excellence.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across product, operations, platform, and data.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work from Berlin office or home, with EU work flexibility
• 5+ years software engineering experience with backend and cloud technologies.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles guiding cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and architectural skills in software design and distributed systems.
• Experience in scale-up environments and complex domains like FinTech or InsurTech.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI/ML powered applications.
• Experience in process automation architecture.
