What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain core services and libraries in F#.
- Contribute to architecture and scalability of cloud-based platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept to production.
- Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
- Mentor engineers and promote functional programming patterns.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize workloads on Microsoft Azure.
Requirements
- Must have 10+ years of professional software development experience with significant expertise in F#.
- Strong background in functional programming principles and patterns.
- Experience building scalable, distributed, or data-intensive applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native development.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
- Experience with .NET ecosystem (C#, libraries, interop).
- Knowledge of scientific computing, modeling, or geoscience applications.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Bicep, Terraform, Pulumi).
