What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java backend applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and manage deployments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with cloud services, primarily Azure, and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Design and integrate event-driven systems using Kafka and GraphQL Federation.
• Apply test-driven development practices including unit and integration testing.
• Collaborate remotely with international teams ensuring code quality and delivery.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English at least B2 level.
• Must be available to work fully remotely based in Portugal.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and backend frameworks.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure Cloud, and GraphQL Federation.
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD, and test-driven development methodologies.
