What you will do

• Participate in full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment under supervision
• Maintain and enhance existing codebases focusing on practical implementation
• Collaborate with team members to improve documentation and clarify requirements
• Produce unit-tested software meeting defined requirements with high quality
• Work within an agile Scrum team following agile principles
• Participate in code reviews to ensure product quality

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Colombia
• 2 years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Proficient in Python and Git version control
• Strong understanding of development best practices and Agile methodologies
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with REST API development
• Knowledge of SQL and database design
• Familiarity with high-volume API services and Linux system administration
