What you will do

• Lead and drive the development of complex data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into detailed data architectures.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of data solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI Designers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, integrating new solutions and methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to Data Engineers, including code reviews.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive testing strategies for data pipeline reliability.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for code, architecture, and processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Well-written and spoken English required for daily international team collaboration.
