What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and deploy offline object detection, tracking, and fusion modules for sensor data annotation.
• Lead projects and mentor less experienced team members.
• Develop and maintain offline perception models using disciplined software development processes.
• Manage ingestion, preparation, and governance of large multi-faceted datasets.
• Measure and track auto-labeling quality to meet internal requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend technical advances to improve productivity and quality.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada or able to work remotely within Canada.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch, Lightning, Ray), and ML operations tooling.
• Experience with computer vision tasks such as 2D/3D object detection, tracking, sensor fusion, semantic segmentation.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• English: Required for daily collaboration and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with data operations at scale, AWS cloud services, and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of cloud orchestration and resource management.
