TL;DR

Test Developer: Ensuring product quality and improving test automation within an agile software development team, with an accent on defining test strategies, designing test cases, and expanding automated regression tests. Location: Hybrid (Neckartenzlingen, Germany) with an ability or willingness to work in German-speaking environment.

What you will do

  • Ensure product quality and continuous improvement.
  • Expand test automation within an agile software development team.
  • Support developers in implementing and executing functional tests.
  • Define test strategies and test plans.
  • Design test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and execute explorative, manual tests in sprint.
  • Continuously expand automated regression tests and integrate them into the Continuous Integration environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in state-of-the-art test methodology and testing frameworks.
  • Experience implementing automated tests, including unit, functional, and integration tests.
  • Deep understanding of Layer 2 and 3 routing and switching.
  • Very good understanding of data structures and scripting languages, especially Python.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability or willingness to work in a German-speaking environment.
