What you will do

• Collaborate closely with UX designers, UI artists, and UI engineers to create exceptional user experiences.
• Design, prototype, and implement UI designs in the game engine ensuring visual and functional standards.
• Create detailed documentation for engineers and QA testing.
• Architect UI implementation systems with focus on usability and future development.
• Contribute to pipeline and process improvements.
• Write solid, extensible scripts and maintain bug-free UI with QA support.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada with onsite presence.
• 8+ years of practical UI design experience with at least one shipped AAA title.
• 1+ years of technical design experience and strong scripting skills, especially in Lua.
• Good understanding of UX/UI design principles and human-software interaction.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, After Effects, and Figma.
• Strong time management skills to work creatively in a demanding team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in game or systems design.
• Proficiency in visual design and AAA game engines like Unreal, Unity, or CryEngine.
• Strong debugging and communication skills.
• 3+ years of game industry experience preferred.
