Product Manager (Payments): Owning and driving the payments processing strategy and roadmap for all Zopa products, ensuring quick, safe, and scalable payment flows with an accent on managing supplier relationships, optimizing payment processing architecture, and collaborating with senior leadership. Focus on achieving business objectives by delivering innovative payment features and key infrastructure projects.

Location: Hybrid in London, UK, requiring 2-3 days a week in the office. Option to work abroad for up to 120 days a year, subject to having the right to work in the chosen country.

What you will do

  • Own and align the Payments Processing strategy and vision with the overall business strategy.
  • Drive the day-to-day delivery of the Payments Processing roadmap and quarterly OKRs.
  • Collaborate with all Zopa product areas to manage payment outcome prioritisation.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders including Product, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Finance.
  • Manage supplier relationships for Payments Processing.
  • Own and monitor Payments Processing KPIs, continuously seeking improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in a payments product environment, ideally with a UK payments focus at a Fintech or consumer facing Financial Institution.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile product team environment.
  • Passionate about Zopa’s growth journey and proactive in contributing ideas.
  • Outcomes-focused and highly proactive, taking ownership beyond immediate remit.
  • Actively engaged in the payments industry, using industry knowledge and data to shape strategic thinking.
  • Experience acting as a leader in cross-functional teams, collaborating with engineering, product peers, and wider business stakeholders.
