What you will do

• Drive innovation in AI systems, including combat behavior, perception, and decision-making logic.
• Develop and maintain navigation systems, pathfinding for 2D/3D spaces, and AI-driven locomotion.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to define system needs and iterate on features.
• Contribute to core engine technology and scripting systems to support AI functionality.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical excellence and code quality.
• Support the team by participating in code reviews and sharing technical feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in C++ and debugging complex systems.
• Proficiency in mathematics, specifically trigonometry and linear algebra.
• Experience shipping AAA game titles.
• Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines including gameplay, animation, and design.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with physics middleware systems like Havok or PhysX.
• Knowledge of gameplay animation concepts such as motion matching and finite state machines.
• Experience working on multiplayer AI or in-house game engine development.
