What you will do

• Provide day-to-day legal support across business, product, content, and marketing
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts with partners, creators, vendors, employees, distributors, and licensing
• Guide copyright and trademark strategy across jurisdictions
• Ensure marketing compliance for contests, promotions, sweepstakes, and influencers
• Support content acquisition, licensing, and risk assessment
• Structure international operations across the US, EU, Japan, and China
• Advise on data protection, privacy, and user-facing policy updates
• Coordinate with external counsel and build internal legal processes

Requirements

• Fully remote contract role with B2B engagement as an independent contractor
• Experience as Legal Counsel or in-house attorney in tech, media, entertainment, or consumer digital businesses
• Strong knowledge of IP, digital content rules, and employment basics
• Ability to translate legal complexity into simple, practical decisions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with leadership and teams
• Comfortable in a high-speed environment valuing ownership over hierarchy
