What you will do

• Lead infrastructure resiliency efforts including recovery mechanisms, tenant isolation, and load spike handling
• Improve observability and operability of systems
• Build performance-critical, user-facing infrastructure such as real-time event processing
• Plan scaling initiatives to support large customer growth
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable product features
• Mentor engineers on best practices including observability and risk mitigation

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in infrastructure
• Ability to investigate and debug complex errors and performance issues
• Experience building scalable infrastructure for high-growth products
• Strong mentoring skills for engineering best practices
• Location: Hybrid work with presence in San Francisco office 3 days/week and remote from NYC
• English proficiency: at least B2 level
