What you will do
- Lead infrastructure resiliency efforts including recovery mechanisms, tenant isolation, and load spike handling
- Improve observability and operability of systems
- Build performance-critical, user-facing infrastructure such as real-time event processing
- Plan scaling initiatives to support large customer growth
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable product features
- Mentor engineers on best practices including observability and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in infrastructure
- Ability to investigate and debug complex errors and performance issues
- Experience building scalable infrastructure for high-growth products
- Strong mentoring skills for engineering best practices
- Location: Hybrid work with presence in San Francisco office 3 days/week and remote from NYC
- English proficiency: at least B2 level
