Salary: $173,000.00–$242,500.00

What you will do

• Develop and scale core telemetry pipelines for logs, metrics, and traces, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Support technology rollouts (e.g., OpenTelemetry) by creating configurations, documentation, and technical guidance.
• Implement new platform features to improve developer experience, data governance, and cost visibility.
• Author and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for platform deployment and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues within the observability platform, participating in on-call rotation.
• Advocate for operational excellence and observability best practices and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering; with a focus on backend services, distributed systems, or infrastructure.
• Strong, hands-on experience with observability principles (logs, metrics, traces).
• Proficiency with observability technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Clickhouse, Datadog, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry.
• Proficiency in one or more of: Go, Java, Python.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, Docker, microservices) and a major cloud platform (AWS preferred).
