What you will do

• Collaborate with Ads Policy, Legal, Privacy, Sales, and Infrastructure teams to translate requirements into technical designs that reduce churn and protect revenue.
• Design and build IAM and compliance services including federated authentication, least-privilege access, and domain verification.
• Develop admin self-serve tools for compliance configuration in Business Manager.
• Build transparency and auditability features such as immutable logs and region-specific interfaces.
• Own services end-to-end including design, implementation, testing, observability, SLOs, and incident response.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of backend software engineering experience building production services at scale.
• Proficiency in Go or Python and experience with service frameworks like gRPC or Thrift.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures (Kafka/PubSub), and data stores (Postgres, BigQuery, Cassandra, Redis).
• Experience building reviewer/operations tools and collaborating cross-functionally with Policy, Legal, and Privacy teams.
• Location: Must be based in the United States for this remote role.
