What you will do

• Mentor a team of manual and automated software test engineers.
• Oversee all elements of software development testing including code inspections, test plans, and defect management.
• Assist with secure architecture design reviews and support security testing preparations.
• Ensure mitigation of security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in planning future releases by estimating testing and documentation efforts.
• Advise on product improvements based on experience and customer feedback.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Houston, Texas, United States
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Geo-science, Petroleum Engineering or similar discipline.
• 4+ years of related experience in software testing and/or development.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience mentoring software testers and knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.
