Salary: $165,000–$285,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement simulation systems to forecast outcomes, assess risk, and optimize decision-making under uncertainty.
• Develop and validate stochastic and deterministic simulations, integrating statistical, mathematical, and computational methods.
• Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to structured, semi-structured, and streaming datasets for trend identification.
• Build scalable simulation pipelines on distributed, clustered, and cloud-based high-performance infrastructures.
• Integrate simulation outputs into interactive visualization tools to communicate forecasts and scenario results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into predictive analytics problems and simulation-based solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering or a related field.
• 10 years of experience as a data scientist.
• In-depth knowledge in mathematics, statistics, probability, and simulation methodologies (Monte Carlo, agent-based modeling, discrete event simulation).
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience with predictive analytics tools and frameworks in Python, R, or similar languages.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
• Must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience working in aviation/with the FAA or supporting Federal Clients.
• Familiarity with APIs, data transformation, and integration standards such as JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP.
• Experience with cloud-based analytics tools.
• General knowledge and experience with leading automation software projects.
