TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Developer (EV Charging): Develop and prototype software for Europe's green energy transition focusing on EV charging infrastructure, smart charging, and carbon tracking. Focus on building scalable, high-availability fullstack MVPs, validating technical feasibility, and collaborating across product and engineering teams.
Location: Based in the Netherlands or open to relocating with hybrid work (3 days in Rotterdam)
Salary: €70,000–€90,000 + annual bonus

What you will do
- Lead architecture, stack decisions, and development of innovation projects from idea to working prototype
- Build fullstack MVPs using PHP backend and Angular/Vue/React frontend with containerization and cloud infrastructure
- Validate technical feasibility, scalability, and maintainability of prototypes
- Collaborate closely with product leadership, embedded/IoT experts, and core engineering teams
- Stay updated on trends in EV, payments, mobility, and distributed systems
Requirements
- Based in the Netherlands or open to relocating with hybrid work (3 days onsite in Rotterdam)
- 4+ years experience as Fullstack Developer with strong PHP/Symfony backend and Angular/Vue/React frontend skills
- Experience building scalable, high-availability systems
- Interest in green energy, e-mobility, or sustainable technology
- Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and bridge business and technical teams
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS
- Test-driven development and knowledge sharing culture
