What you will do
- Design and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Build integrations with partners and applicant tracking systems.
- Ensure the platform architecture can handle rapid growth.
- Act as a technical example, share knowledge, and mentor team members.
- Collaborate with the CTO and frontend colleagues to ensure product robustness and cohesiveness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
- Strong expertise in Python, Go, Rust, or Elixir.
- Proven experience building and scaling APIs and backend systems.
- Background in scale-up or start-up environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coach others.
- Must be living in the Netherlands and available on-site in Amsterdam at least 4 days/week.
- Valid EU work permit required. No visa sponsorship or relocation support.
Nice to have
- Affinity with AI/ML applications.
- Experience with ATS integrations.
- Broader understanding of frontend development.
