Salary: €5500 – €7000 gross per month + 8% holiday allowance

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable backends using Python (FastAPI or Flask)
• Design APIs that power AI workflows and modular decision logic
• Work with Redis and WebSockets to support real-time features
• Improve testing, performance, and system security
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and fellow engineers
• Contribute to architecture, deployment pipelines, and monitoring

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend experience, preferably 3+ in a SaaS or product environment
• Proficient in Python and familiar with modern API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask)
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Docker, GitHub Actions or equivalent tools
• Exposure to LLMs or AI integrations (or interest in working with them)
• Broad technical knowledge across architecture, CI/CD, security, and testing
• Fluent in English
• Must be living in the Netherlands with valid EU work authorization
