What you will do

• Write and optimize critical code for complex AI projects as an individual contributor.
• Lead and mentor teams of Applied AI Engineers deploying GenAI applications across industries.
• Drive technical discussions during pre-sales and translate customer needs into AI solutions.
• Design and oversee implementation of advanced AI systems including fine-tuning, RAG, and custom LLM applications.
• Identify emerging AI trends and champion best practices for deployment and inference.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, and engineers to integrate customer feedback.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in New York, USA
• PhD or Master’s degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in AI/ML with 2+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Expertise in fine-tuning LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, and scalable NLP deployment.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and modern AI frameworks; cloud and MLOps experience is a plus.
• Strong software engineering skills including API design and system architecture.
• Excellent technical communication skills for diverse audiences.
