What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and provide strategic advice on contracts related to compute operations, hardware, data centers, and cloud services.
• Advise on legal and regulatory compliance for the Mistral Compute business.
• Collaborate with commercial-legal, procurement, finance, and corporate teams.
• Develop internal templates, practices, and guidelines to scale legal operations.
• Support compliance topics including export controls and sanctions.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Paris, France for on-site work
• Bachelor or higher degree in law (LLB, LLM, Juris Doctor) from an accredited European law school.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience, including in-house technology sector experience.
• Strong experience structuring and negotiating compute or infrastructure deals with cloud and technology knowledge.
• Understanding of AI technologies including machine learning and NLP.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills with a business-oriented mindset.
