What you will do

• Own outcomes for the Inbox team, including delivery commitments and quality.
• Lead and grow a cross-functional group of engineers.
• Address system challenges and guide architectural direction.
• Champion engineering excellence through metrics and post-mortems.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape roadmaps and technical plans.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineers and emerging leaders.

Requirements

• Proven success leading product engineering teams.
• Experience in backend systems and real-time services.
• Fluency in PHP, Go, Python, or Node.js.
• Excellent people leadership skills.
• Ability to unblock teams through hands-on investigation.
