What you will do

• Lead large cross-team projects and drive them to production.
• Contribute to quarterly planning and roadmap definition.
• Review feature designs and ensure non-functional requirements are met.
• Oversee technical debt management and incident handling.
• Hire, evaluate, and motivate team members.
• Build cross-team and cross-functional collaboration to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 2 years working with Golang (ideally).
• 2+ years as an Engineering Manager at a fast-growing fintech/e-commerce company.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems and working with high-load architectures.
• Solid understanding of backend tools and technologies — we use PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab, and a microservices architecture.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development.
• Strong communication skills in English.
