What you will do
- Lead the team, manage delivery, and prioritize new features demanded by product teams, contributing to development as needed.
- Develop talents by providing feedback, enabling growth for colleagues, supporting the team, and mentoring.
- Strengthen the team, reinforce for scaling, ensure smooth rotations with mobile squads, and foster a healthy, non-burnout culture.
- Oversee team performance, ensuring on-time project delivery aligned with business goals.
- Shape the architecture, design, and implementation of backend services in Golang.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience managing small engineering teams (5-8 people) in fast-paced settings, preferably fintech with Go stack.
- Experience in hiring, development, performance, and delivery management.
- Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and the ability to build partnerships.
- 4+ years of experience as a Go developer.
- Experience in building and optimizing development processes (planning, decomposition, retrospectives).
- Diplomacy and the ability to advocate for your position and the team's interests with well-reasoned arguments.
