TL;DR

Senior QA Automation Engineer (Performance Testing): Developing and improving infrastructure for load testing and enhancing existing solutions with an accent on Python-based framework development, tool creation, and monitoring system improvement. Location: This role offers remote work within Cyprus or Georgia, or the option to work onsite in Paphos (Cyprus) or Tbilisi (Georgia).

What you will do

• Develop and improve the existing Python-based framework for load testing.
• Create tools and utilities to automate load testing processes.
• Improve the monitoring system, visualization, and reporting for test results.
• Independently identify tasks for improving processes and tools.
• Participate in load testing and analyze results.
• Detect and analyze performance bottlenecks, plan experiments for deep analysis, and take part in architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Python, including decorators, descriptors, multithreading, asynchronous requests, and working with protobuf and gRPC protocol.
• Experience with Playwright, pytest, and Locust or similar load testing tools.
• Experience analyzing load testing results and identifying bottlenecks.
• Understanding of microservice architecture, with experience in Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation or Performance Testing.
• High level of independence, analytical thinking, and a systematic approach.

• Experience developing frameworks or complex Python libraries.
• Good understanding of load testing principles: types of load, metrics, load profiles.
• Experience in application performance optimization.
