What you will do

• Design and execute network performance, stress, and scalability test plans.
• Validate throughput, concurrent flow handling, session scale, and device limits.
• Perform packet-level analysis to investigate performance degradation and packet loss.
• Identify bottlenecks across CPU, memory, and network interfaces.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot complex test environments.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to track and resolve defects.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in network performance testing, SD-WAN testing, or network device validation.
• Strong networking background with expertise in TCP/IP, L2/L3, BGP, OSPF, VPN, and NAT.
• Proficiency in traffic generation tools such as IXIA, Spirent, TRex, or Ostinato.
• Comfortable with Linux environments and tools like tcpdump, Wireshark, and iptables.
• Capable in Python for test automation and Bash for shell scripting.
• English: Fluent communication required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SD-WAN architectures and platforms.
• Experience with hardware vs software networking platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
