What you will do

• Manage and mentor a pod of engineers focused on accelerating growth in APAC
• Lead by example in code quality and delivery velocity
• Define and evolve overall backend architecture aligned with product needs
• Analyze metrics and influence product decisions and prioritization
• Build engineering execution plans and assign work within the pod
• Run pod processes autonomously and participate in hiring

Requirements

• Must have 5-8+ years engineering experience including IC roles
• 3+ years leading successful engineering teams
• Strong backend development skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue and TypeScript
• Experience with Django and Python
